Type 8 - The Challenger (Great Star Coral) - Powerful and dominating, eights are self-confident, strong, protective, resourceful, decisive, proud, confrontational and often intimidating. Eights fear being harmed or controlled. When shining, eights use their strength to improve others’ lives, becoming heroic and sometimes historically great. “Remember it is your true nature to be strong and capable of affecting the world in many different positive ways.”

Great Star Coral inhabit most reef environments and are often the dominant coral between 40-100 feet. Polyps generally retreat during the day and extend prominently at night.
